Despite his brutal murders, Adam soon became the focus of the Justice Society (consisting of Doctor Fate, Atom Smasher, Cyclone and Hawkman), who make their way to Kahndaq to confront him and end his rampage. Millennia later, Teth-Adam was freed by a professor named Adrianna Tomaz to once again help protect and save Kahndaq, fighting Intergang forces while trying to adjust to a new age thanks to Adrianna's son Amon. Somehow, Shazam managed to imprison the Sins and later imprisoned Teth-Adam for 5,000 years for the heinous act. Because of this act, he later battled the Council of Wizards and used the sins to kill most of the Wizards with Shazam being the only survivor. However, he accidentally released the Seven Deadly Sins onto his home country to avenge his son, which killed millions of people. Teth-Adam was then chosen to be the champion of the Council of Wizards to protect the world.
